A Few Storms Then Cooler

One severe thunderstorm moved along the Iowa and Minnesota border early today with some winds of 50 to 70 mph. This did some damage to trees and out buildings. This storm fired along a cold front that passed by later in the day and then stalled out before it could exit the viewing area. This kept a few showers around late in the day with more storms possible into Saturday morning.

Another cold front will slide by earlier Saturday. This will bring with it some showers and thunderstorms earlier in the day before tapering off to isolated showers. Once the cold front totally gets through, mostly sunny skies will return along with colder air.

Sunday and Monday morning will have low temperatures in the 40s with highs only in the upper 60s with mostly sunny and cool air sticking around for most of next week.
